Prayer flags have been used for centuries in Tibet and Nepal. Prayer flags are small colorful flags with Buddhist images and mantras written on each flag. There are a few different types of prayer flags, including vertical prayer flags, cotton prayer flags, and satin prayer flags. Our prayer flags are handmade in Nepal.

In Tibet and Nepal, prayer flags are put out each year for Losar, the Tibetan New Year’s festival. Prayer flags are traditionally changed each year at Losar. Our prayer flags can be hung outside or inside. The idea behind prayer flags is that, when hung outside, the wind blows the flags and the mantras are carried out all over the world.
